My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
It is four years too late for the “Christians” in America, now many in shock and disillusionment with the latest actions of their Christian leader and savior Donald J. Trump.
It was not the 2016 Election with the infamous “Hollywood Access videotape” where Donald J. Trump first boasted about grabbing women’s private parts and wanting to have sex with a married woman all caught on video weeks just before the 2016 election.
No.
It was not the many public accusations of sexual assault and harassment of over 15 women against Donald Trump prior to his election.
No.
It was not his racist and xenophobic ranting about Mexicans illegals “invading” the southern border he described them as “rapists” and “criminals,” “thugs,” and “gang members” as he lied promising a wall to be built and to be “paid for by Mexico.”
No.
It was not when Donald Trump was elected President and refused to condemn white supremacist groups saying to the America people after a racist church shooting in the south that there were “good people on both sides” referring to anti-racist protesters and white supremacists and Neo-Nazis.
No.
It was not when Donald Trump’s “zero tolerance” policy for the American Southern border which caged children and physically ripped children from their parents to which over five hundred still are separated and cannot be reunited to their family members.
No.
It was not when Donald Trump was accused of extortion and bribery and put up for an impeachment trial and was impeached over a phone call to the Ukrainian president seeking dirt on his rival Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden.
No.
It was not when America dealing with high racial tensions over the George Floyd shooting and other abuses by police shootings of Black people, that peaceful protesters in Washington D.C. were tear gassed and forced away by military national guard so that Donald Trump could march down to a local church and hold the Holy Bible upside down in his hand for a photo op.
No.
It was not when Donald Trump during the 2020 election ranted and raved on public election stage with Joe Biden refusing to condemn white supremacist groups such as the “Proud Boys’ instead Trump replied “Stand back and Stand Bye!” as if to call out to American pro-Trump militias.
No.
None of those things were the straw that broke the White Evangelical Christians’ back.
At every one of these points in the life time of Donald Trump’s limited abusive political career, the American largely white Evangelical Christians and many other “Christians” both Catholics and Protestants overwhelmingly gave Donald Trump “a pass” and even voted twice for their King Trump.
In the first election it was over 75% of America Christians of all stripes in 2016, supported and voted in Donald Trump to become the 45th U.S. President.
In the latest 2020 November election it was upward of 88% of Christians in America supported Donald Trump despite four years of his immoral, unruly, chaotic, racist, and criminal conduct.
Many Christian news websites ( like christianheadlines.com) posted daily pro-Trump news stories during the last 4 years of Donald Trump and praised his administration for recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, for his Pro-Israel positions, for his supposed support of Religious Liberty, for his supposed support of Pro-Life positions, for his supposed pro-Christian polices.
Christian website after Christian website posted pro-Trump articles one after the other and ran Trump Ads and endorsements for Donald Trump in the 2020 election.
Christians even continued to support Trump and his baseless conspiracy theories alleging voting fraud on a massive scale in the 2020 election, as Trump refused to concede to the peaceful transition of power to Democratic candidate Joe Biden who won overwhelmingly the 2020 election.
Then on January 6th 2021, after their President Donald Trump incited a pro-Trump mob of “protesters” to go protest the United States Capital to attempt to stop the democratic process of the counting of the Electoral votes of the 2020 November election, which was going to bring in a tally of nationwide electoral votes of the American People who democratically chose to vote in favor of Joe Biden for next President of the United States.
Thousands of flag waving supporters, egged on by the President’s violent rhetoric, then marched down to the U.S. Capital and began to start a riot, violently smashing into the United States Capital building in a treasonous act of insurrection and what the U.S. President Elect Joe Biden described as “Domestic Terrorism.”
And only now, only now “The Christians” are coming out of their sleep and out from under their rocks and going “Oh wait, we don’t support this violent coup attempt by Trump Supporters” or “we can’t support this action by Trump.”
They’ve suddenly changed their tune.
Posting articles like “We Serve the Purposes of God, Not the Politics of Men” and “Our Hope Is Rooted in Christ, Not Politics.”
Now they want to serve their God?
Really?
Suddenly their savior Donald Trump is not the great “Chosen One” they thought he was.
Well, it’s just a little too late folks!
Its 4 years too late my fellow “Christians!”
Just as Jesus cleared out the money changers out of the temple, I think Jesus is very, very, unhappy with his people in the American church for having sold their soul for a cult of personality of sinful man like Donald Trump and his trumpism.
Matthew 21:13
And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
What kind of ambassadors for Christ is the American church that has overwhelmingly supported Donald J. Trump rather blindly for the last four years and has been silent practically on every time he was exposed for his daily lies, his sinful, corrupt, chaotic, unruly, fleshly and immoral behaviors?
Now 4 years later the American Christians are now ready to jump ship.
The Hypocrisy is amazing.
I’m sorry but you’re just four years too late!
REPENT you Hypocrites!
I thought I was finished making angry articles about rebuking Christians for supporting a fool such as Donald Trump.
I was evidently wrong.
Pathetic.
