As it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be

Luke 17:22-36 (KJV)
And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it. [23] And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them. [24] For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day. [25] But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation. [26] And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. [27] They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. [28] Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; [29] But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. [30] Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. [31] In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. [32] Remember Lot's wife. [33] Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. [34] I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. [35] Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. [36] Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Genesis 6:9-7:10 (KJV)
These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. [10] And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. [11] The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. [12] And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. [13] And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
[14] Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. [15] And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits. [16] A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it. [17] And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die. [18] But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee. [19] And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female. [20] Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive. [21] And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them. [22] Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.
[7:1] And YHWH said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation. [2] Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female. [3] Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth. [4] For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth. [5] And Noah did according unto all that YHWH commanded him. [6] And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.
[7] And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood. [8] Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth, [9] There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah. [10] And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.

Perhaps a very over looked Scripture and profound idea that Christ mentioned “And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.”

What did Christ really mean by this?

Luke 17:26-36
And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

Many Christians have taught this, to say that God is going to save the aware church and every one else will be destroyed as that they rejected the truth. However true that may be, the Bible's example of Noah appears to say even more.

Perhaps it will not be all Christians, but only those who were determined by God Almighty YHWH to be saved. Those who prepared themselves; and cleansed their robes in the blood of the Lamb; and those who diligently prepared; and patiently waited; and vigilantly watched; and actively worked to preach and teach the gospel; will live within the Kingdom of God.

Let’s now study what happened under Noah’s days.

First, lets take note of who Noah was and what set him apart from all others.

Genesis 6:9-7:10 (KJV)
These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

Noah was a just man and perfect.

The word “generation” can often mean long periods of time. Some Bible scholars say 'forty years' is a generation in the Bible.

Noah also walked with God and sought him, trusted, and put his faith in God.

Paul the apostle taught that Noah was saved largely because of his faith.

Hebrews 11:7 (KJV)
By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

The story of Noah says in holy scriptures that God looked on the earth and saw it was corrupt and full of violence.

Genesis 6:11-12 (KJV)
The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. [12] And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

God communicates with Noah that 'the end' is near and will come.

Genesis 6:13 (KJV)
[13] And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

God  informs Noah that all those living on the earth will soon be destroyed.

Does YHWH say Noah the end is coming and Noah should go out warn all the others?

No. God said the end of all flesh is come before me.

Remember again, why Noah was saved.

Genesis 6:9-7:10 (KJV)
These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

Next, notice that God commands to Noah some very specific actions he must take in order to be saved.

Genesis 6:14-16 (KJV)
[14] Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. [15] And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits. [16] A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.

Notice here, that God sets ‘in stone’ so to speak, what the actual guidelines were that Noah was to follow to make the ark.

YHWH commanded Noah to make it a particular way; being 'this high, so and so big, this you will do and make it as such.'

Did not our Lord Jesus make such commands to his own disciples to do certain things, to do them in such a way, yet today there are many who choose their own ways?

If Noah had made a less tall ark, would the water not have drowned him if he had disobeyed YHWH's commandments?
JESUS commanded many times:

John 14:6 (KJV)
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Luke 13:3 (KJV)
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Mark 1:15 (KJV)
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

John 8:24 (KJV)
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I AM he, ye shall die in your sins.

Mark 16:16 (KJV)
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

John 13:8 (KJV)
Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.

And yet still many Christians and churches try to use different measurements or alternative sizes or other "short-cuts" to build their own ark—which some have chosen to make using plywood, or balsa wood, or some with no wood.

Notice, again God says to Noah He will destroy ALL FLESH.

So one can see that God had Mercy and His Grace on Noah and only Noah's immediate family— in all, eight persons.

It does not say that Noah’s many other relatives, or his kinsmen were going along in Noah's ark.

It doesn’t say Noah had been commanded by God to bring in as many as would listen, or any others who didn’t have the knowledge of the truth that Noah was given.
It states this nowhere.

No. God said

“behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die. [18] But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee.”

Only Noah and his family were chosen to be "saved."
Therefore, it is only by the Grace of Almighty God that Noah was saved.

Genesis 6:5-8 (KJV)
And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. [6] And it repented YHWH that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. [7] And YHWH said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. [8] But Noah found grace in the eyes of YHWH.

But what if Noah had decided to disobey God’s commandments or as many today like to say, refuse “works,” to say ‘I don’t need to build the ark so big, I can build a smaller ark.’

How many times have you heard any of these excuses spoken?

"Well, you can believe what you want to believe, but I have my own beliefs."

"Well, I was baptized already as a baby."

"I don't need to be bapatized, that's just works, and we're saved by grace"

Would God have saved Noah?

Are we only “saved by grace?”

Are we not also to be obedient to God walking with Him to receive His blessing, His mercy, His Grace, continually living in His Hope, in Faith.

James 2:17-18 (KJV)
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. [18] Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

We should also understand that the other reason YHWH saved Noah in addition to God’s almighty Mercy and Grace is that it was in the master’s plan, predestined from before time.

The apostle Paul attempted to teach this concept in the book of Romans.

Romans 9:6-24 (KJV)
Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: [7] Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. [8] That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed. [9] For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sarah shall have a son. [10] And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac; [11] (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) [12] It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. [13] As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
[14] What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. [15] For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. [16] So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. [17] For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. [18] Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. [19] Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? [20] Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? [21] Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? [22] What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: [23] And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, [24] Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

God found Grace, His Mercy on Noah for it benefited God's ultimate plan.

Do any one of us know who is or who is not to be saved?

No. Therefore, we should preach this Gospel to all and anyone.

Matthew 28:18-20 (KJV)
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. [19] Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: [20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Only God knows if it will be God's Will, His Mercy, His Grace— who will hear, and hearing, believe, and believing repent, and become converted, and be saved in the Truth of His Christ, the "salvation of YHWH."

It says Noah obeyed God. There was no questioning or choosing 'a different path.'

Noah simply obeyed what God Commanded him.

Genesis 6:22 (KJV)
[22] Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.

Another reason why Noah was saved is because Noah was seen righteous before God.

Genesis 7:1 (KJV)
[7:1] And YHWH said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

YHWH Saves Noah for his righteousness, not before men, but Noah's righteousness before God.

Genesis 7:2-6 (KJV)
[2] Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female. [3] Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth. [4] For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth. [5] And Noah did according unto all that YHWH commanded him. [6] And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.

Again, it states Noah obeyed the voice of God.

Genesis 7:7-10 (KJV)
[7] And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood. [8] Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth, [9] There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah. [10] And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.

As Jesus said "And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man."

So what does all this tell us?

Well It certainly appears that in final day of Almighty YHWH and the day of HIS Christ's coming, there will be a completely corrupt world and ONLY those who are righteous and have obeyed and done what they were commanded in the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, shall be saved— ready for the great day.

All others will be so caught up in snares of the world, that they will not see that day coming.

Luke 17:27-29 (KJV)
And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

Luke 17:24 (KJV)
For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.

Matthew 24:42-51 (KJV)
Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.[43] But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. [44] Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. [45] Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? [46] Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. [47] Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. [48] But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; [49] And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; [50] The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, [51] And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

My friends, Christ is coming back! The Day of YHWH is now upon us— very soon!

Will your lamp have enough oil?

Matthew 25:1-13 (KJV)
Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. [2] And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. [3] They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: [4] But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. [5] While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. [6] And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. [7] Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. [8] And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. [9] But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. [10] And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. [11] Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. [12] But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. [13] Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

If you are walking in the "cares of world" (which shall pass away) and walking willfully in sin, living in an surrounded by abominations of this evil and adulterous generation, not seeking your God, shall you expect to find oil for your lamp, in Day of His coming?

Will you know when to watch, or what to watch for?

Luke 11:29-30 (KJV)
And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet. [30] For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.

Please realize that the people of Nineveh were saved only because they repented of their sins.

Will you be saved too?

Acts 2:36-47 (KJV)
Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
[37] Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? [38] Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. [39] For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. [40] And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
[41] Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. [42] And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. [43] And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. [44] And all that believed were together, and had all things common; [45] And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. [46] And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, [47] Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Let us all pray to God to be accounted worthy, obedient, and willing, and righteous before YHWH’s face just as Noah was, so we too can hear His voice, to know when we will need to enter into the ark and be ready for that Great day of YHWH.

May YHWH bless you and show you all truth.

Do You Know JESUS?

Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

Do you know why Jesus came to earth 2000 years ago?

Do you know How to repent to God, what does REPENT mean?

May God bless you this day with his Holy Spirit.
