Understanding God's Perfect Year

The following is an amazing study and a look at God's perfect Year.

This study was initiated due to the authors' own problem of trying to discern when the Passover takes place for the year 2005.

I found my answer by researching a bit about the equinox, and more importantly through studying God's Holy word, and finding an amazing discovery in the New Testament story of Lazarus.

The story of Lazarus, the brother of Mary and Martha whom Jesus raises from the dead, is quite possibly very important to giving one clues and details to understanding the timing of the Passover.

Before going there, lets look at a few things already studied in a previous sabbath article.

We know that God's Year began on the first month on the first day.

Have you ever asked "Why God chose the first month?"

We also know that God's Year closes on the seventh month at the end of the Feast of Tabernacles, the last Great Day of YHWH.

While there is technically a Hebrew or human twelve month (even a 13th?) year, in YHWH's Eyes, HE has a Seven month or perfect month-long year.

Did you know that the Vernal Equinox, which I cannot really explain too well, except to say that it is the only time when we have 12 hours of night and 12 hours of day— equal time, and or following then are longer days (more hours of daylight) or shorter days (less hours of daylight) as we end on one phase of time to another.

This explanation is from another website:

"The equinox is the point where one season turns to the other. The word is Latin for 'equal night' and refers to the fact that, on the equinox, day and night are of equal length. There are two equinoxes each year, with the vernal equinox usually occurring on 21 March. Vernal comes originally from the Latin word for 'bloom' - it refers to the fact that, in the northern hemisphere, this equinox marks the end of winter and the beginning of spring."

This author was not initially interested in the Vernal Equinox, but it kept nagging at him, and when this author soon had to figure out when the Passover was, he realized he could not rely only on third party Abib reports from Israel.

Abib reports are reports of the stage of growth of Barely. In the Bible, the First month of months is the month of Abib.

Exodus 12:2 (KJV)
This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

Exodus 13:4 (KJV)
This day came ye out in the month Abib.

'abiyb, Hebrew 24, Strong’s

'abiyb
, aw-beeb'; from an unused root (meaning to be tender); green, i.e. a young ear of grain; hence the name of the month Abib or Nisan :- Abib, ear, green ears of corn.

Abib is a growth stage of the Barley which has to be in a certain stage or condition viable for harvesting, so that when it is harvested, it stays 'in one piece' so to speak, and does not fall apart.

In the Book of Exodus this is evidenced by the Barley and Flax which was destroyed by God's plagues of a hail storm on the Egyptians—a very important, yet seemingly insignificant detail and piece of Scripture.

Exodus 9:27-35 (KJV)
And Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said unto them, I have sinned this time: YHWH is righteous, and I and my people are wicked. [28] Intreat YHWH (for it is enough) that there be no more mighty thunderings and hail; and I will let you go, and ye shall stay no longer. [29] And Moses said unto him, As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands unto YHWH; and the thunder shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that thou mayest know how that the earth is the Lord's. [30] But as for thee and thy servants, I know that ye will not yet fear YHWH God. [31] And the flax and the barley was smitten: for the barley was in the ear, and the flax was bolled. [32] But the wheat and the rie were not smitten: for they were not grown up. [33] And Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread abroad his hands unto the Lord: and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured upon the earth. [34] And when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders were ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants. [35] And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, neither would he let the children of Israel go; as YHWH had spoken by Moses.

The Barley was Abib

So what happens when one has to choose between two groups? One from Christians and the other Jews—each who claim two different findings?

Both groups search for barley to be found if it be in a stage of abib a few days before the close of the 12th Hebrew month; one, aJewish Karaite sect, says they found abib and therefore proclaim "its the first month, the Passover is in 14 days", and the other, Christian, says "Not yet ready, it's not yet ready, there needs to be another month to wait for the Harvest and Passover."

The Sabbath studies on this website were started over a year ago; then I stated at that time that I did not believe in a thirteenth month, because I thought this was simply a "tradition of men".

However, I now have to eat my words, it does appear that we are forced to take a prolonged month's time of a Hebrew month in order to catch up with God's Perfect Time, not ours.

Before I was able to accept this finding, I needed a third witness.

God made "lights in the firmament of the heaven"—the Moon and the Sun— for seasons, days, and years.

So far I was only using the moon, taking for granted the sun which also has a special role in God's Perfect Time.

Genesis 1:14-18 (KJV)
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: [15] And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. [16] And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. [17] And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, [18] And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

Psalm 104:19-24 (KJV)
He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down. [20] Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth. [21] The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God. [22] The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens. [23] Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening. [24] O YHWH, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

The sun indeed appears to have a special role; that role is in the Equinox.

Were it not for this following amazing discovery revealed through YHWH's Grace, and having studied His Holy Word closely for this information (looking up the Hebrew definitions and such), I never likely would have figured any of this out.

What amazing discovery am I talking about?

Well, God's months, in His Perfect Year, are seven, beginning with the first month, where the Bible stated the Tabernacle was first to be raised up. This is the same month when the children of Israel partook of the Passover of YHWH.

Exodus 40:17-19 (KJV)
And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up. [18] And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and fastened his sockets, and set up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up his pillars. [19] And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as YHWH commanded Moses.

In the seventh month, after the Holy feast, the tabernacle was taken down, as it appears the close of the Feast of tabernacles.

Leviticus 23:23-44 (KJV)
And YHWH spake unto Moses, saying, [24] Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. [25] Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto YHWH.
[26] And YHWH spake unto Moses, saying, [27] Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto YHWH. [28] And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before YHWH your God. [29] For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people. [30] And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people. [31] Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. [32] It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.
[33] And YHWH spake unto Moses, saying, [34] Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto YHWH. [35] On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein. [36] Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto YHWH: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto YHWH: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein. [37] These are the feasts of YHWH, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto YHWH, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing upon his day: [38] Beside the sabbaths of YHWH, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto YHWH. [39] Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto YHWH seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath. [40] And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before YHWH your God seven days. [41] And ye shall keep it a feast unto YHWH seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month. [42] Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths: [43] That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am YHWH your God. [44] And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of YHWH.

So what does all this have to do with the Vernal Equinox?

This author through the Grace of Almighty YHWH has discovered, rather YHWH revealed to him through diligent study, that the equinox, which has both a Spring equinox and Fall equinox are exactly seven Hebrew months apart in time.

This was deduced only through following closely, for a full Hebrew year's time all the sabbaths and was therefore able to figure out by looking at the equinox times and comparing them to the timing of both the Passover in first month, and the feast of Tabernacles in the Seventh month.

What was found, was that the year 2004 sabbaths and holy days and 2004 estimated equinox times, both followed a time period of roughly Seven Hebrew Months.

Is that not amazing?

Add to that, like the moon which has a perfect recorded time period, it appears that the Sun— in particular its Equinoxes fall on almost a perfect time schedule of Seven Hebrew Months.

The day an Equinox may fall may vary, but the time length seems not to vary from what I can tell.

That means that if and since it's a perfect seven months, it has to be a Holy and Perfect reason and thus fits into the bigger picture or puzzle. Otherwise it is an amazing coincidence.

I prefer the former, knowing that my God works in Perfect time.

Deuteronomy 32:4 (KJV)
He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

Psalm 18:30 (KJV)
As for God, his way is perfect: the word of YHWH is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

YHWH's perfect number is the holy number Seven.

sheba`, Hebrew 7651, Strong’s

sheba`
, sheh'-bah; or (masculine) shib`ah, shib-aw'; from Hebrew 7650 (shaba`); a primitive cardinal number; seven (as the sacred full one); also (adverb) seven times; by implication a week; by extension an indefinite number :- (+ by) seven ([-fold], -s, [-teen, -teenth], -th, times). Compare Hebrew 7658 (shib`anah).

Take a look for the year 2005 Equinox schedule comparing it to the Hebrew months time period.

Placeholder Picture

If this is correct that means PASSOVER not only must be in the Month of Abib, but also AFTER the start of YHWH's perfect year markers—Equinoxes.

For as a Hebrew Day ends with evening to evening and a Hebrew month from new moon to new moon, so does a Year, which appears to end with an equinox to equinox!

Spring Equinox marks the start of the year, and Fall equinox marks the close.

Is that not awesome!

Romans 11:33 (KJV)
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

My next test was to see Where does this fit.

The amazing thing about the Equinox, is that it can fall RIGHT BEFORE the first New moon day of the first month!

It in fact did in 2004. Did you know that the 2004 close of YHWH's year, closed exactly on the Fall Equinox, on the very Last Great DAY OF YHWH of the Feast of tabernacles (2004) September 22 !

That was quite a shock to find out when I did the research, based upon my year long watching or keeping of the Sabbaths times. This author would be a liar to say he could keep each sabbath perfectly.

The other fascinating feature about the equinox, is that it is the only time when you have exactly 12 hours of Day time and 12 hours of Night time.

That is why they call it the Equi (Equal) nox (night).

"So what," I can hear some of you saying. "What does that prove? And where it is in the Bible?"

Well, the Equinox by name, is not mentioned in the Holy Bible, however there is a place in the Scriptures which mentions "12 hours of the day".

And it is found in the New Testament, by the mouth of our Lord.

I mean, who else, who else would know or could proclaim such a fact, were it not the very day or day of the day that the Vernal Equinox took place.

Let's see if in fact this day, was the very day that Jesus spoke was the first day of the Hebrew First month?

Remember that it is already possible for such a phenomenon to have happened; as last year, 2004, the Spring Equinox fell just before or on technically the first Hebrew Day.

Much like the new moon and a Hebrew month's length in days until the next new moon, the bi- yearly equinoxes appear to be off by one day in time, usually .

In other words, the days an equinox falls each year may change every so often.

Short Tangent, I cannot tell you how many people just do not (or they chose not to) understand that the Sabbath of YHWH cannot be "Saturday" or "Sunday" because it changes.

Actually, Forgive me Lord, it does not change. (The day of the week on which the sabbath falls does.)

Malachi 3:6 (KJV)
For I am YHWH, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Ecclesiastes 3:14 (KJV)
I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.

It's just the world is on the wrong calendar. The world's calendar is defined by world's work days which many times fall on the sabbath.

Thank you JESUS for the blood that frees me from the curses of death of the Law, or I would be no more, Praise Yahweh for HIS mercy endures forever, for no man can live and be justified by the deeds of the law.

Romans 3:20 (KJV)
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Romans 3:28 (KJV)
Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Don't you fret, YHWH will one day return the Sabbaths to His people.

Want to be blessed? Be of a contrite and repentant heart on the Sabbath, praying and praising God. Study your bible! HE will reveal you things in His Word you never ever could find your self!

Isaiah 56:2 (KJV)
Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.

A small tangent, forgive me.

Let's now see if, in fact this day, was the very day that Jesus spoke was the first day of the Hebrew First month?

Lets first find where it mentions "12 hours."

John 11:9 (KJV)
Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.

I looked for another witness, but alas I have only one witness— this one Scripture in the entire Bible.

This appeared to be a problem, as I usually look for more than one Scripture.

or is it?

John 8:18 (KJV)
I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.

Thank you JESUS! Praise YHWH! O Thank You Heavenly Father!

So, Why are there twelve hours in the day?

John 11:1-12:22 (KJV)
Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. [2] (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.) [3] Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick. [4] When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby. [5] Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus. [6] When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was [7] Then after that saith he to his disciples, Let us go into Judaea again. [8] His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again? [9] Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world. [10] But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him. [11] These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. [12]

What did this answer of Jesus, have to do with the Jews stoning Jesus?

Was this merely only a parable? Or was Christ saying something else, knowing the time.

"Hey we have to go see Lazarus now. Don't you worry, we've got plenty of day time Are there not twelve hours in the day? as there will be surely more light in the days ahead of our journey up a rocky landscape ( or around it) to get to Bethany, and we can cover much ground."

I looked up in my Bible History Atlas map book (I highly recommend you obtain a Bible atlas like the The Baker Atlas of Christian History by Dowley publishers) to determine only where Bethany was. To my surprise, I learned a great deal more, than I first enquired.

Firstly, the Scriptures state that Jesus before he embarks to go into Judea and Bethany, was in a place "beyond the Jordan," where John the Baptist first baptized.

John 10:39-42 (KJV)
Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand, [40] And went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized; and there he abode. [41] And many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spake of this man were true. [42] And many believed on him there.

Where did John Baptize "beyond the Jordan?"

John 1:28 (KJV)
These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing.

Now Bethabara is located in the "Wilderness" areas of the land of Israel which are in a rather low level, well below the raised elevated town of Jerusalem and Bethany which is relatively close to Jerusalem about "fifteen Furlongs" or Staidium.

Looking at the atlas, I noticed that Bethabara is about 25 to 30 miles a distance from Bethany.

"Not a big deal," so I thought, until I soon realized the landscape— it would take some time to walk or hike up the mountains and or pass around them for Jesus and his band of disciples to get to Bethany, where Lazarus was awaiting in grave to be arisen.

Lets look at this Scripture

[6] When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was

Note that Jesus, for what ever reason , abode two days still in same place — in Bethabara.

John 11:7-17 (KJV)
[7] Then after that saith he to his disciples, Let us go into Judaea again. [12] Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well. [13] Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. [14] Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead. [15] And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him. [16] Then said Thomas, which is called Didymus, unto his fellowdisciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him. [17] Then when Jesus came, he found that he had lain in the grave four days already.

Note Jesus and his disciples travel into Judea and when they arrive at Bethany, Lazarus is now four days dead, from the time Jesus mentions of his death.

John 11:18-54 (KJV)
[18] Now Bethany was nigh unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off: [19] And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother. [20] Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house. [21] Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. [22] But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. [23] Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. [24] Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. [25] Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: [26] And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? [27] She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world. [28] And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come, and calleth for thee. [29] As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly, and came unto him. [30] Now Jesus was not yet come into the town, but was in that place where Martha met him. [31] The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, She goeth unto the grave to weep there. [32] Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. [33] When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled, [34] And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see. [35] Jesus wept. [36] Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him! [37] And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died? [38] Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it. [39] Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. [40] Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? [41] Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. [42] And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. [43] And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. [44] And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go. [45] Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him. [46] But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done. [47] Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles. [48] If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation. [49] And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all, [50] Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not. [51] And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; [52] And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad. [53] Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death. [54] Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.

Note that after Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, He then goes into a city named Ephraim—the same name for the House of Israel, the Ten tribes in the prophetic books (Ephraim) and the name of the main "head" or the Birth right holding child (Ephraim and Manasseh) or the tribe of Joseph.

John 11:55-57 (KJV)
[55] And the Jews' passover was nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves. [56] Then sought they for Jesus, and spake among themselves, as they stood in the temple, What think ye, that he will not come to the feast? [57] Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a commandment, that, if any man knew where he were, he should shew it, that they might take him.

[12:1] Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead. [2] There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him. [3] Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment. [4] Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him, [5] Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? [6] This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein. [7] Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this. [8] For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always. [9] Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead. [10] But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death; [11] Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.

Note here that six days after His visit to Bethany, a second time, is the Passover.

Read on.

[12] On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, [13] Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord. [14] And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written, [15] Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt. [16] These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him. [17] The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record. [18] For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle. [19] The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him. [20] And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast: [21] The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus. [22] Philip cometh and telleth Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus.

Note that the next day, was the day on which Jesus—Behold the Lamb of God— was rode into Jerusalem on back of an ass's colt. Note below Prophecy fulfilled.

Moses' prophecy of the tribe of Judah

Genesis 49:11 (KJV)
Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:

Prophecy of Israel's Messiah, (King, Anointed).

Zechariah 9:9 (KJV)
Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

Was this possibly the very day, or day before the tenth of the month, when Israel was to choose a lamb for the Passover?

Exodus 12:3-5 (KJV)
Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house: [4] And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb. [5] Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:

Blessed be the Lamb of God!

Isaiah 53:4-12 (KJV)
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. [5] But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. [6] All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and YHWH hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. [7] He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. [8] He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. [9] And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
[10] Yet it pleased YHWH to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of YHWH shall prosper in his hand. [11] He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. [12] Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

So from all that, what do we have here?

Please note that it's possible, since it is hard to understand sometimes if we should take literally the four days as fully passed, then on the next day Lazarus was actually raised from the dead making it the sixth (perhaps in even) or on the beginning of the the seventh day (sabbath).

To know this we would need the time of even and more details

Just as it is possible that Jesus spoke on not only the first day of Hebrew month, but same day of the Vernal Equinox!

We simply don't have enough first hand evidence to go on, but we can say for sure that it certainly appears to line up exactly as it did in the year 2004 (March 20th), when the spring equinox fell exactly one day before the first Hebrew new moon (March 21st) of the first Hebrew month.

Update March 22nd was the day of equinoxes around 31-33 A.D. (see link below)

That means depending on 2003, or 2006 to see when the previous or next spring Equinox falls, to match or find any celestial pattern— which would also fall into relation to the full year of new moons of sabbath days— that it very well could have fallen one day later which would certainly mean it could be first day of the Hebrew month as diagramed above "12 12".

2000 20 March, 07:34

2001 20 March, 13:30

2002 20 March, 19:15

2003 21 March, 00:59

2004 20 March, 06:48

2005 20 March, 12:33

2006 20 March, 18:25

2007 21 March, 00:06

It seems that there is a pattern— every four years it falls on the 21st , exactly one day after!

Of course 21 is divisible by 7 — 7 + 7 + 7= 21

It's possible that this may not make any difference, as the equinox, being so close to the next day, the day light witnessed then would be almost as strong or identical in appearance as actual Equinox date (in terms of day length). I would have to do more studies to see if that is in fact the case.

There does appear to be a link in Jesus' statement and in researching out the rest of mentioned times in this narrative — that Jesus was speaking from HIS SUPREME GOD vantage point of owning ALL knowledge, (being HE was God manifest in the flesh) that the day would in fact have only 12 hours of day light, meaning the same day was the vernal or spring Equinox!

1st Timothy 3:16 (KJV)
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

That might also explain why possibly the Jews had the wrong day of their passover, "the Jews passover," choosing to celebrate —a tradition of men (halakhic/Judaism)— on the eve that Christ was crucified, not on the evening before (of the same day) at the beginning of the Hebrew day as commanded by Almighty YHWH at even ye shall kill it and eat the Passover.

The Jews had the wrong time for Christ has already been arrested at Midnight hour of the Passover day.

Today Judaism still has the wrong time, (and wrong sabbath) often because they change times and continually change times.

John 18:28 (KJV)
Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover.

Christ did partake of the Passover at the correct appointed time— His Last Supper.

Luke 22:7-8 (KJV)
Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed. [8] And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.

Luke 22:11 (KJV)
And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

Luke 22:13 (KJV)
And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

Christ ate the passover with his disciples at its proper time (HE Was Yahweh in the flesh).

Luke 22:15 (KJV)
And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:

John 14:9-11 (KJV)
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? [10] Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. [11] Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

If Christ had the correct date, then why shouldn't we?

1st Corinthians 11:24-28 (KJV)
And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. [25] After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. [26] For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. [27] Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. [28] But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.

Therefore, the 2005 Passover of YHWH did not commence until the after the vernal or Spring Equinox beginning on the evening of the Fourteenth day, at even of the Full-ness of the moon, the appointed time of First month of —when the barley is Abib— months of YHWH's perfect Year!

UPDATE IT SEEMS THAT 33 AD matched this PATTERN!

Praise YHWH for HIS Goodness and Mercy!

Psalm 118:28 (KJV)
Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.

Are You worthy to partake of the passover of YHWH having been washed in the Blood and Circumcised with the circumcision made with out hands?

Exodus 12:43-51 (KJV)
And YHWH said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof: [44] But every man's servant that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof. [45] A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof. [46] In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof. [47] All the congregation of Israel shall keep it. [48] And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the Lord, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof. [49] One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you. [50] Thus did all the children of Israel; as YHWH commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they. [51] And it came to pass the selfsame day, that YHWH did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.

Are you Circumcised?

Have you truly received Christ?

Colossians 2:6-3:4 (KJV)
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: [7] Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. [8] Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. [9] For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. [10] And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: [11] In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: [12] Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. [13] And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; [14] Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; [15] And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. [16] Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: [17] Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. [18] Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, [19] And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.
[20] Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, [21] (Touch not; taste not; handle not; [22] Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? [23] Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
[3:1] If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. [2] Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. [3] For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. [4] When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
